Super Mario Bros. Semi-HD Edition

Hack of Super Mario Bros.

Description

The author has seen some graphic improvement hacks for SMB, but he mostly feels like they take away from the game's own style, usually importing graphics from SMB 2 or SMB 3. So he decided to make his own graphics hack, replacing them with SMB2J, that has mostly the same style, just a little bit more polished graphics. Every relevant sprite is changed, eyes on the mushrooms, shiny bricks, rocky ground, more detailed bushes and clouds, shaded font, eyes on the trees, different bridges and moving platforms. Feel free to comment on anything missed.

-Fixed odd pixel in the cloud/bush sprite
-Fixed stretched black dot on the sprites on the top of the castles
-Added alternative patch for inverting Bowser's fireballs

v1.2 Changes
-Hack remade from the ground up due to loss of the original files
-Temporary removal of the fireball inversion alternative patch
-Added shading to copyright symbol in the main menu
-Correctly adjusted the black dots on the castles
-Changed Peach's sprite to her SMB2J counterpart
-Corrected the rope color on the 2-3 bridges
