Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 (Cartridge Rumble Patch)
Hack of Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
Description
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 is one of the few games that rumble the Game Cube controller when played through a Game Boy Player. This patch unlocks the rumble feature on GBA and adds cartridge rumble. The original Game Boy Player rumble events and rumble duration are used to trigger the rumble motor in a rumble flash cart, such as:

* insideGadget's 32MB, 1Mbit Flash Save cartridge (with rumble motor)
* EZ-FLASH OMEGA Definitive Edition

The cart itself will rumble when played on GBA but not when played through a Game Boy Player. That's how Drill Dozer works, which is the only game that officially supports both Game Boy Player and cartridge rumble.

If you want to apply a GBP/SNES palette hack, check out my patch here: https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/6227. The GBP/SNES palette hack by "Vague Rant" is not compatible because it forces the game in GBP mode, which disables cartridge rumble.

Don't forget to enable the rumble feature in the options menu.
