A tweak that will work for both Pokémon Red and Blue.
A tweak that makes the following changes to the game corner to make it less evil:
-You can buy 500 coins for 8000 pokebucks instead of 50 for 1000
-Slot machines don't sadistically roll the reel to prevent you from lining something up on the third reel anymore. Slot machine biases are ignored. Now it's more of a timing game than a game of chance.
-Slot machine reward payout speed was doubled
-Slot machine payouts were slightly increased
-Cherry: 9 coins
-Anything other than cherry, bar, or 7: 50 coins
-Bar: 200 coins
-7: 500 coins
This is a fairly standalone tweak and should work with any hack that hasn't touched or moved the game corner code from its location in the ROM. |
