Taking inspiration from the changes made to the SMAS + SMW Improvement patch and that in addition to being the 35th anniversary of Super Mario, well, what better way to celebrate it by playing one of their excellent titles. Now don't be confused with the name, as mentioned before, it's to celebrate mario's anniversary, so in essence it's still the same game, so "why is the extravagant name here?"..; well, it turns out that the original sprites from the SNES version have been used as base models for this hack, that's where the name comes from, "SUPER Heroes Edition".
Changes made:
- The colors of the overalls in Mario and Luigi have been switched as they appear in the official art.
- Peach now has a closer look to the SMAS version, so ... yeah, she no longer has those curious but disturbing eyes.
- Everyone already knows that Toad does not have legs, that is why they have been removed.
- All tiny sprites have been replaced, so you won't see those misshapen sprites with big heads and small bodies anymore.
Everything has been done so that all the sprites are as close as possible to the 16 Bit models, but due to limitations present bugs in certain tiles sprites, some changes had to be made to adapt the sprites to the system, if it is discovered that it is possible to fix these bugs, (which is highly unlikely), there will be an update that fixes those details, but for now, enjoy it, and ... happy birthday Mario.
