NeoRHDN - Hacks - Hack Information

Early Tasnica
Hack of Secret of Mana
Description
This hack makes it possible to visit Tasnica as soon as you get Flammie instead of forcing you to wait until acquiring Shade, Lumina, and Luna. This allows access to better armor and an extra sword orb earlier than you would otherwise get these things. While it's well-known that you can visit Tasnica early in the original game by exploiting the "switch character" glitch, this hack removes the need to exploit a glitch to do so. Because this hack deletes two NPC entries from the spawn table, this also provided an opportunity to add two extra Lullabuds to the path to Gaia's Navel.

Important things to note:

- To combine this with Early Luna, apply Early Luna first, then this hack.
- To combine this with Level 9 Weapons Progression Balance or Remove Empire Castle Gate Permanently, it is recommended to use the bundled "L9WPB and RECGP version" of the hack instead. Side effects: This version does not include the two extra Lullabuds on the path to Gaia's Navel. It also makes getting the sword orb in Palace of Darkness required before going to Tasnica if Level 9 Weapons Progression Balance is applied and the Empire Castle sidequest required before going to Tasnica if Remove Empire Castle Gate Permanently is applied.
