The same game you've always loved, and maybe always wanted to love more. Maybe now you can with these new changes to this underrated gem:

[li]1. New control scheme option, based on the controls of Super Metroid, tweaked for tight performance. If you like the original controls, they are retained as an option. See Readme for details.[/li][/list]
[list][li]2. Save feature at terminals. Two per level, so save wisely! Press Select to save.[/li][/list]
[list][li]3. New cheat codes!! [/li][list]
[li]Press Start to pause. Then press A B Y X and then the R shoulder button to increase Ripley's speed by 1.5 times! Input again to shut it off.[/li]
[li]Press Start to pause. Then press A B Y X and then the L shoulder button to change the flamethrower fuel to blue -- the strongest ammo for it. Note: it does not refill the canister.[/li][/list] [/list]
[list][li]4. Various other tweaks. Fixed some minor bugs. Minor sprite work. See readme for details.[/li]

Known bug: sound effects can sporadically drop after several stages of continuous gameplay on consoles. (This bug is in the original version of the game.) TO FIX: simply use a terminal to return the sound behavior to normal.[/list] |
