| Description |
Disable the sword beam. Normally, once you have the master sword and full health you can shoot a beam from the sword. This hack disables this beam.
Why disable this feature? A few possible reasons: the damage is low, it makes a high-pitched sound, and even when in sword range the enemy often takes the low beam damage instead.
Included are patches for both the English and Japanese versions of the game.
The patch is very simple - a single line of code is changed to set the required number of health to be above full health. It is likely compatible with many other hacks and is confirmed to work with the ALTTP randomizer (apply the Japanese version patch to the randomized file) |
