Description |
The 8×8 menu font featured in all retail releases of Final Fantasy IV Advance is far too slim. In fact, this small typeface is hard to read for some players. Dragonsbrethren's "European Font Improvement" patch sought to rectify this, but didn't alter the accented vowels or lowercase tilde n.
Therefore, this two-patch package was created to beautify the European version's original thin font, or alternatively widen it a little in the vein of FFV and VI Advance's US releases. Several characters in the 12x12 dialogue font were also raised vertically by one pixel to draw a shadow on their baselines.
Both patches also feature extremely minor text improvements in the English translation. |
