| This hack resolves the questionable grammar and spelling choices featured in the original game, not limited to correcting the broken English of the innkeepers, and the Queen of Portoa's propensity for swapping commas and apostrophes. All existing save files and save states will work with this hack, as no addresses in the ROM were changed. Due to hard-coded addressing, certain corrections could not be made, such fixing Asena and Kensu's names (Athena, Kensou), or lengthening statements and item names. This is not a "localization", and no memes or other easily-dated content have been added. This is my first ROMhack. |
