Super EDF - Sound Effects Volume Hack
Hack of Earth Defense Force
Description
This is a small hack for the SNES game Super Earth Defense Force to drop the volume of a couple sound effects. Specifically, the "enemy taking damage" sound effect has been dropped considerably, and the "enemy death" sound has been dropped slightly.

These sounds are annoyingly loud for the frequency at which they are played, and drown out the music (for a game with a pretty decent soundtrack) almost entirely.

The enemy shot sounds were left alone for now, because they are heard way less often, and it's generally more important to know when they happen vs. the ones that were actually changed.
