| Description |
After the Battle for the Frozen Esper, you are allowed to choose your own party members. If you choose Gau as the only member, you can then find Shadow in Kohlingen's café and hire him into the party. If you then go to the Veldt and have Gau Leap, Shadow will be the only member. However, if you then return to Narshe, Shadow is programmed to leave as soon as you try to enter, thus leaving you with an empty party. If this happens, you will be forced to reset.
If this patch is applied, however, you will instead be taken to the party selection screen, where you can select a new party from scratch and start over in Arvis's house. |
