-no collisions with BG !!! (hallelujah)
(keep in mind that a few bits of the BG are sprites, which you can collide with, like a door you can shoot, or a pillar that comes in to block your way.)
-auto-repeat fire, just hold down A
-that stupid animation of the Surfer bent over weeping is now GONE...however, this has introduced a glitch, that usually helps you. Half the times you die, it will subtract a life from you, the other half it won't...effectively DOUBLING YOUR LIVES. Very RARELY, the glitch will make you have to repeat the last portion of the section even after you safely beat it (as if you had died).
-changed from 5 starting lives to 8 (actually 16, because of the glitch).
-now, instead of a grueling, awful nightmare, just have fun and listen to that awesome Tim Follin (with his brother Geoff) soundtrack. |
