Shining Force II - Gong edition

Hack of Shining Force II

Description

This hack has been created in order to offer a new version of Shining Force II to play.

What you will find in this hack :
- Gong from SF I is now part of the team. He will join pretty early in the game. One character had to be removed : Claude is no longer available.
- New join order for the characters to have fresh play-through
- New, unexpected promotions for the characters
- Palette editing
- Gong sprites come from SFI and SFCD. Some editing has been done (added a blocking animation for unpromoted Gong, for example)
- ACHR sprite has been replaced by the one from SFCD, which is a lot prettier
- Sprite editing for the world map
- A few minor text changes (for consistency)

Information to know :
- No more secret promotion, so don't keep searching for them
- After promoting, you should update your weapons
- Some faces lose their animations because of the swapping process that was done
- The game difficulty should remain the same (or even be a little bit easier)
- Characters that felt too weak before have been strengthened
- Some classes will now gain spells. Overall, spells have been redistributed among the characters.
