The one thing that is terrible about the Nintendo DS port was the use of the microphone. Blowing on the microphone:

[li]On the title screen, Puyos appear[/li]
[li]The menu options bounce up and down[/li]
[li]During a Puyo Match, it plays your player’s voice file (for example, Amitie says “You betcha!”)[/li]
[/list]
A pointless feature that really wasn’t required. For whatever reason, there is no option to turn the microphone off, and if you are in noisy environment like in a car, well enjoy getting your ears blasted to death with the same phase repeated over and over again during a match.
A patch has been created, which “disables” the microphone. |
