All 5 areas of Zebes have been drastically altered; there are new palettes, new room layouts, new map layouts, new enemy locations, a few new enemies, and some old enemies with new tricks that may surprise you... Metroid Zebian Illusion is very challenging, much more than the original Metroid. Think that all you have to do to get the Round Ball is to go to the left of the starting point and claim your prize? Think again! Items have been moved to harder to reach places. And entrances that used to be simple to reach have been hidden and swamped with enemies.
