| Game Description |
This is the second game in a series of (mainly) side-scrolling shooters that were very hype when they came out. You are the pilot of a ship which is more or less Earth's last hope in the fight against the Bydos alien invaders.
Quite a few bonuses are possible, but R-Type in general is particularly known for giving you a secondary attachment that fires in a special direction (depending on the bonus you get) and that you can attach either front or back, depending on your strategy for the part of the level you are going through.
This game has 6 levels, and of course you can expect 1 boss per level, following the now classic formula.
