State of War 2: Arcon (SoW2) is a real-time strategy (RTS) game released in 2007 by Cypron Studios, a Czech game company known for the predecessors of this game (State of War and State of War: Warmonger, both are available on Steam). However, SoW2 is not nearly as impactful, which did not even receive an English release (despite a few screenshots on the official website showing some English texts), while only Czech, German, and Chinese versions exist (the Chinese version is named as 蓝色警戒3, or Blue Alert 3). Notably, almost every aspect of the gameplay deviates from its predecessors and resembles a more “traditional” paradigm of RTS games. For example, buildings are destroyable and unit production is no longer automated, etc.
