Game Description |
Early NES/Famicom baseball game by Nintendo. Baseball is a very simple simulation of America's favorite past time. The game has very few features. There is a small selection of six teams with little to no differences between them other than color.
Gameplay is also very simple. The home team pitches in the top of the innings while the visiting team bats. They switch sides on the bottom of the innings. Pitching and batting take place on the same screen which is a close up of the infield. Pitching and batting are as simple as pushing the button. When the ball is hit out of the infield, the view changes to a view that shows both the infield and outfield from a distance. This is when the home team attempts to catch the ball or get the runners out. The game is very slowpaced.
