Xanadu Next is a 3D Action RPG by Falcom.
You play a wandering knight who follows his sister, on a quest to investigate a castle that appears and disappears again on a remote island. Of course everything comes differently as planned and you'll be dragged into a conflict that raged on for centuries.
The game plays like a cross between the Ys series (by the same developers) and Zelda. Fighting happens through very fast-paced action. The game world is very well designed and offers a ton of secrets to find and places to explore. It definitely feels more like an adventure than the Ys series, which focuses mostly on fighting.
The story is also not half-bad and the music is of typical Falcom quality - excellent.
If you are a Falcom fan or you just enjoy Action RPGs, do yourself a favor and try this game.
