Game Description
This game is a strategy game with giant robots, and a giant robots fan's wet dream. You take a load of mecha and characters from all sorts of mecha series, mish-mash their stories into one, and let them duke it out on the battlefield. You finish the chapter, earn some money, upgrade your mechs, rinse and repeat.

Super Robot Wars J is everything you could expect from a SRW game. Looooong, smooth attack animations, an assload of mecha and accompanying characters and a sinister plot of a sinister man to conquer or destroy the world.

It's a pretty hard game at times in your first playthrough, because you get a big pile of mechs from the get-go and only so much money to upgrade them. And all the while enemy units are getting more and more powerful. It gets easier over the playthroughs after that, because you keep all upgrades from precurring ones.
